Ohio Gov. John Kasich conducted a very unusual interview with rapper 2 Chainz on “The View.” Doc Thompson, Brandon Morse and Brad Staggs reacted to the awkwardness on Tuesday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.”
“That is a sitcom waiting to happen,” Brandon said of the odd situation.
Kasich, who was one GOP presidential candidate of many in 2016, attempted to flaunt his purported connections with the music industry in the interview. Calling himself a “friend of Bono,” Kasich said that his daughters used to ask him to listen to Kanye West’s music with them and talked about how Nicki Minaj is “working with everybody, including Ariana Grande.”
“’The music, I’m down with it,’” Doc deadpanned.
But at least Kasich didn’t remind everyone that his dad was a mailman, Doc pointed out.
