Candace Owens explains why Don Lemon was the 'smarter' person during the LeBron James interview
August 10, 2018
Pro-Trump activist and Turning Point USA communications director Candace Owens recently opened up about the assault she and Charlie Kirk faced while frequenting a breakfast joint in Philadelphia, as well as her thoughts about a now-famous interview between CNN's Don Lemon and NBA star LeBron James.
On Thursday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat discussed the violent behavior on the left and praised the way Owens conducted herself as a black conservative in her interview with Fox News guest host Tammy Bruce.
Here's what Owens said about Lemon and James:
"Quite frankly, the way that LeBron conducted himself in that interview, and I don’t want to take away from what he did — opening the school was an incredible feat that he did — but Don Lemon got him in that interview. Don Lemon was the smarter person in the room," Owens said. "Don Lemon knew what he was doing for CNN, and he wanted LeBron to say something about the president."
Here's the video of the assault on Kirk and Owens:
