Dr. Kevin Campbell gazes into the future of Obamacare

Dr. Kevin Campbell, internationally-recognized cardiologist and healthcare policy commentator, joins Tomi Lahren on her signature show to explore President-elect Donald Trump's options for repealing and replacing Obamacare.

Tomi is hopeful Trump will undo the groundwork Obama laid for a single-payer socialized medicine system, but she's eager to hear Kevin's thoughts on Trump's best path to success. Kevin points out that Republicans must be careful not to suddenly leave portions of the American populace without health insurance while they work to dismantle the system, and he foresees some difficulties in carrying out their healthcare plan.

"I think there is going to be some challenges with completely repealing it because of the Senate majority," Kevin comments. "Right now, we don't have a super-majority. And without that it is going to require some compromise. However, we can move things along very quickly in terms of getting rid of funding for aspects that we don't like, and we can also make sure that we can get a better plan in place within hopefully the first 100 days of his presidency."
