Glenn is moved to tears as a caller with autism shares his story

Kevin from Arizona revealed on “Glenn” how Glenn Beck’s program has helped him overcome obstacles in his life he and others didn’t think he was capable of overcoming.

Kevin called in and shared that he was diagnosed with autism and OCD at 15-years-old and now lives independently and attends college where he maintains a 4.0.

He said he’s followed Beck since 2009 and attributed his success to Beck being a presence in his daily life throughout the years.

“I was diagnosed with autism and OCD at 15-years-old and I came across you in 2009-ish, or so. So, I was, you know, 18-19. And you being a presence in my daily life, a part of my life daily, has helped me become the man I am today. . . And I have gone on to do things that people never thought possible. . . They always viewed me as my disease or my disorder rather than as, Kevin -- as a person. And so, I’ve been a part of your program for 9-10 years. And it’s what’s kept me going on. It’s what’s kept me moving and doing things.”

Beck was moved to tears and at a loss for words. He thanked the man for sharing this inspirational message on the program and vowed to meet the man in person someday, soon.

“The God’s honest truth is if you had not been a part of my life – your program, your inspiration, your empowerment – I would not be where I am today.”
