Two days after the sanctuary cities ban was signed into law by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, the state is taking it to court. Attorney General for Texas Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit naming several city of Austin and Travis County officials who are unwilling to cooperate with the ban.
He joined Dana Loesch on "Dana" today to discuss opposition to the law, which includes accusations that it is racist. Paxton pointed out that the charge makes no sense, considering the law protects everyone in Texas from anyone who commits a crime.
