Jon Ossoff and Karen Handel went head to head in a special election for Georgia's 6th congressional district that demonstrated the fierce polarization of the two parties. Republican Handel won, so this time, the Left can't blame misogyny.
Even with all the money spent to put Ossoff in the seat, the Democrats have lost every special election since Donald Trump was elected president. In this "Millennial Moment" Allie Stuckey noted that their messaging simply does not work: Their usual plan of attack, to demonize with accusations of patriarchal privilege or racism simply does not apply.
Americans are tired of "doomsday rhetoric," Allie said. Some Democrats seem to agree. Even Representative Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) said his party is now toxic.
