Protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline spread beyond North Dakota
November 29, 2016
Kelcy Warren, CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, joins Tomi to discuss one of the largest public demonstrations to date against the Dakota Access Pipeline. The Leftist mainstream media is covering this complex topic from only one side, which has inspired new protests in cities across the nation. As Tomi and Kelcy point out, the circumstances surrounding the planning of the pipeline are very straightforward and completely undermine the protesters' arguments.
Tomi exclaims: "And still I say, hard to legitimately oppose a pipeline at this point when the tribe failed to participate in any public comment meetings in North Dakota, did not submit written testimony in opposition to the project, and refused to meet with officials from the Dakota Access project on seven different invitations."
