Video: Your tax dollars are still going to Planned Parenthood -- here's why
September 15, 2017
Planned Parenthood CEO, Cecile Richards, responded to GOP plans to cut funding on “CBS This Morning,” by saying, “Planned Parenthood operates like any other hospital … and yet we are the only organization that’s been singled out by Congress.” She went on to add, “We are extremely popular.”
According to March for Life however, the data tells a different tale. Here are some of those statistics:
- In 2015, Planned Parenthood collected over $554 million in “Government Health Services Reimbursements & Grants,” … funding provided by federal, state, and local taxpayers.
- Nearly two-thirds of Americans are opposed to their tax dollars being used to fund organizations that perform or support abortion.
- Planned Parenthood aborted more than 328,000 unborn babies last year.
- At the 2017 March for Life, Vice President Mike Pence said “this Administration will work with Congress to end taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion providers. And we will devote those resources to health care services for women across America.”
In this video clip from “Dana,” Matt Walsh joined Dana Loesch to share his views on why Planned Parenthood continues to receive taxpayer-provided funding and the “sanitizing effect” of our society when it comes to abortion.
