Things became a bit heated between conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Sen. Marcio Rubio following a Capitol Hill social media hearing on Wednesday.

Jones ambushed Rubio during a news conference following the hearing and sparred back and forth with the Florida Republican. Their confrontation was published on Twitter where it quickly garnered thousands of views and retweets.

The hearing regarded foreign influence on social media platforms. But Jones was more concerned with the de-platforming of conservatives, shadow banning, and bias on social media.
