Watch: Dilbert comic creator explains why facts no longer matter in 2017
November 01, 2017
Love him or hate him, you can’t help but watch. Why is that?
On today’s show, “Dilbert” comic creator Scott Adams talked about his new book, “Win Bigly: Persuasion in a World Where Facts Don't Matter,” and the strangely persuasive powers of President Donald Trump.
In 2017, facts are meaningless when it comes to changing people’s minds. People have chosen their “team” and the talking points they believe, and it’s almost impossible to use facts to dissuade them.
Adams analyzed this horrifying phenomenon on today’s show. He also pinpointed the rhetoric that Trump uses to get his view of the world stuck in your hand and explained why we just can’t look away whether or not we agree.
