Watch: Former Angel Tree child shares how gifts from her dad changed her life
November 27, 2017
Christina Allen’s dad went to prison when she was only 3 years old, so she doesn’t have many memories of him before he was incarcerated. After a couple of years in jail, he learned about a program called Angel Tree that helps inmates connect with their kids through a Christmas gift.
On today’s show, Allen talked about how special it was to be remembered by her dad each year and shared her story of succeeding despite growing up in incredibly difficult circumstances.
Angel Tree is a Prison Fellowship program that lets you help moms and dads behind bars who want to make sure their kids are remembered with a gift for Christmas. “The Morning Blaze” is partnering with Angel Tree to help out families this holiday season. You can learn more about how to help here.
