Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn is running for the U.S. Senate in Tennessee. She joined today’s show to talk about the Uranium One scandal and respond to the allegations against Roy Moore that have divided the GOP – but mostly she wanted to focus on everyday issues that Americans care about.
“What Americans want is someone who is going to stand up for President Trump’s agenda,” Blackburn said of her Senate campaign. She listed the issues that she believes Tennessee voters will focus on when they go to the polls next year:
- Health care and full repeal of the Affordable Care Act
- Tax reform
- Ban on sanctuary cities
- Border security and the wall
- Access to high-speed internet for people in rural areas
