Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) has been accused of forcibly kissing news anchor Leeann Tweeden in 2006 during a USO tour, and Tweeden has a photo of the senator groping her while she was asleep.
Franken quickly apologized after the story broke and called for a Senate ethics investigation into his conduct. But what does that really mean? Glenn broke down the story in this clip (watch above).
"This really isn't as noble as it sounds," Glenn said. "Let me explain something: A Senate ethics investigation is what you order when you don't want someone to get into trouble."
Read our explainer of Tweeden's accusations here.
