Watch: What's the latest on North Korea?

Glenn Beck

What’s happening in North Korea?

President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un continue to threaten each other; meanwhile, their respective militaries are gearing up. The U.S. conducted a joint military exercise with South Korea on Tuesday, sending two American combat bombers to fly over the Korean peninsula alongside two South Korean fighter jets. North Korea has done its homework with six nuclear tests as well as two missiles launched over Japan.

Are we preparing for war?

It’s not looking good. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed on Friday that North Korea is an “issue,” while Trump tweeted ominously over the weekend about the hermit regime, saying that diplomacy hasn’t helped the North Korea situation and “only one thing will work.”

Glenn’s take:

We’re so used to watching Trump and Kim spar back and forth that “it’s easy to miss just how close to war we get every single day,” Glenn said. But don't be fooled by how "routine" it feels. North Korea is a threat.
