ALIEN INVASION? Harvard scientists say mysterious space object could be an alien craft

Scientists first discovered the mysterious interstellar object now known as "Oumuamua" in late 2017 when it was spotted by thePan-STARRS 1 telescope in Hawaii. Astronomers originally thought the flattened, stadium-sized object was a comet or asteroid that came from our own solar system.

But the object's unusual trajectory, high speed, and puzzling way it is speeding up as it moves through the solar system, have caused researchers to consider other possibilities.

Two Harvard researchers have written a paper for The Astrophysical Journal Letters that suggests the idea that Oumuamua might be "a fully operational probe sent intentionally to Earth vicinity by an alien civilization."

Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere discussed the plausibility of the report on Tuesday's radio program. They also discussed the likelihood that people on the left will find a way to blame President Donald Trump for yet another alien invasion during his administration.

"They [aliens] could come with vaporize-guns and [Trump] would be like, 'We should probably stop the vaporizing,' and they would just attack Donald Trump," Glenn joked.

"I've been saying for years that the only thing that could happen that would make this more crazy and I don't think anybody would blink, is if all of a sudden an alien spacecraft appeared above Earth," he added.

"And here's a story fromNBC News saying an alien spacecraft may be above Earth and no one's noticing it," Stu laughed.
