"NBCNews needs to fire this dangerous man before his extreme views incite hate and violence."
Matthew Mowrer, a producer for NBC's "American Ninja Warrior," is generating significant reaction on social media after he tweeted what appears to be a statement supporting the man who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump, calling him "a good guy with a gun."

Shortly after the negative responses were popping up, Mowrer appears to have changed his Twitter profile, removing his affiliation with NBC and American Ninja Warrior.

TheBlaze also reached out to NBC for comment on Mowrer's tweet. We will update this post should we receive a response.
