Bill Clinton blames ‘angry white men’ for Hillary’s loss on Election Day

Former President Bill Clinton is opening up about his wife's unexpected Election Day loss to President-elect Donald Trump, and he's blaming two groups in particular: The FBI and "angry white men."

A reporter for the Bedford and Pound Ridge Record-Review in Westchester County, New York, snagged an interview recently with the ex-president, who said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton lost the election because of FBI Director James Comey.

According to CNN, Bill Clinton said Comey "cost her the election," adding that the Democrat's campaign was "seven points up" prior to the FBI's 11th-hour investigation announcement to Congress. From there, he then went on to lambaste Trump and Trump supporters.

"He doesn’t know much," Bill Clinton told the local newspaper. "One thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him."

But while Bill Clinton is blaming Comey and "angry white men," Hillary Clinton has recently shifted the blame to Russia. The former secretary of state said Russian President Vladimir Putin attempted to "undermine our democracy" because of his "personal beef" with her.

With this latest report, Democrats have blamed just about everyone — except Hillary herself — for the stunning loss in November. In addition to Russia, "angry white men" and the FBI, longtime Hillary Clinton adviser Huma Abedin has recently been scapegoated.

"She prevailed against it all," Bill Clinton said. "But at the end, she had the Russians and the FBI deal. She couldn't prevail against that. She did everything else and still won by 2.8 million votes."
