Watch: Tucker Carlson's argument with a Teen Vogue writer gets hilariously fiery
December 23, 2016
If you want a laugh generating moment of the day, look no further than this latest clip from Tucker Carlson's show on Fox News.
In the video, Carlson invites on Teen Vogue writer Lauren Duca, who took to Twitter when news broke that Ivanka Trump was verbally abused by a fellow passenger on a JetBlue flight. Duca's tweets were none too friendly toward Ivanka Trump.
In response, Carlson invited Duca on the show to explain herself. What resulted was an unfriendly back and forth.
While Duca agreed that Ivanka should not have been harassed on the plane, she expressed that the President-elect's daughter should not be free from criticism. Carlson attempted to point out that her tweet did not suggest this, and tried to get her to explain what she meant when she wrote that Ivanka had a "sinister complicity" in Trump's plans.
As they argued, Duca got increasingly smug, and accused Carlson of being a "partisan hack" that was attacking her and not letting her speak.
From there the conversation devolved into the two mocking each other for one reason or another, including Carlson pointing out that Duca writes about Ariana Grande's thigh-high boots.
By the end of it, Carlson was openly hostile with Duca, stating “You should stick to the thigh-high boots. You’re better at that.” Duca's face took on a look of pure shock, and went to respond before Carlson cut her off and moved to the next segment.
Duca took to Twitter to fire back, however.
Watching the two take shots at each other is one of the more entertaining videos to come out into the news cycle this week. Watch for yourself below.
