Ivanka Trump airplane harasser bombarded with bad book reviews

Some fans of Ivanka Trump, responding to her harassment on a JetBlue flight Thursday, have supported her in the best way they can: by lambasting her harasser's book with poor reviews on Amazon.

Matthew Lasner, the husband of the man who accosted Ivanka Trump and was promptly removed from the flight, is the author of a 2012 book titled "High Life: Condo Living in the Suburban Century."

According to The Daily Mail, as of Saturday, there were 106 reviews on Lasner's book, with only one written by a verified purchaser of the book. The others were left in the the two days since the occurrence on the plane when Lasner's husband, Daniel Goldstein, grew verbally agitated and asked why Trump would be allowed on their flight.

"She should be flying private!" Goldstein reportedly shouted.

Goldstein, Lasner — who is an urban studies professor at Hunter College in Manhattan — and their child were removed from that flight.

Since then, Lasner's book has received more than 100 one-star reviews, with many of them including personal attacks on Lasner. From The Daily Mail:

User 'fmp4369' for example, wrote: 'This book goes nowhere, like missing a flight. Book left me feeling like I was stuck at an airport. Story didn't have any altitude. Hopefully it's not made into an in flight movie.'

A few others said they used the book as toilet paper, while one person suggested it should be marketed as a fire starter.

One reviewer apparently tried to fight back, posting that the book was "not recommended for white supremacists."
