Report: Kellyanne Conway is leaking White House information

A new Twitter account alleges that Kellyanne Conway was overheard discussing Trump, Marc Short — White House Director of Legislative Affairs — and Reince Priebus — White House Chief of Staff — to reporters during a Washington D.C. party held on Thursday night.

An account with the handle @KellyanneLeaks tweeted photos of Conway speaking with reporters and others during the party, and the account alleged that Conway was overheard criticizing Short.

“Honestly," she reportedly said, "What the f**k does Marc Short do all day?”

In a photo posted on Friday, the account featured a snapshot of Conway speaking to a group of people. Its caption read, "Kellyanne was at an embassy party last night, leaking sensitive Priebus and Trump White House conversations to

@

washingtonpost reporters."

The account also alleged that Conway was told by Trump to "go out there and say that booted FBI Director 'Jim Comey is going to have to wait and see about the tapes.'"

Onlookers allegedly witnessed Conway mocking Priebus telling White House staff to refrain from leaking information to the media.

Politico also reported similar information on Saturday.

"Kellyanne Conway was overheard Thursday night talking about her West Wing co-workers to fellow revelers at a party," the site reported. "Conway was having an off-the-record conversation with a group of reporters and other attendees at the British Embassy at their election-night watch party. She said President Donald Trump told her to 'go out there and say ‘Jim Comey is going to have to wait and see about the tapes.'"

Politico quoted Conway as saying, “'I mean, that’s basically the same thing as ‘no comment.'"

The site claimed that she said that she is the one in the White House "catching the slings and arrows in the West Wing." Politico claimed that two other sources confirmed Conway’s remarks.

Despite the tweets and reports, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer discounted the Twitter allegations, and noted that she and Short are "very close."

Spicer also noted that Conway "was not mocking Priebus," but was actually mocking reporters "and how wrong they've been."
