Halloween at the White House 2017: President and first lady host trick-or-treaters
October 31, 2017
President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump on Monday passed out treats to ghosts and goblins — young and old — at the annual Halloween at the White House.
The South Portico was decked out with massive spiders and webs that stretched across the front of the facade. The Trumps, surrounded by bats, greeted children (and parents) dressed in their Halloween costumes during the three-hour event. Carved pumpkins featuring the faces of past presidents were scattered throughout the South Lawn.

A steady stream of firefighters, skeletons, princesses, dinosaurs and others shook hands and enjoyed photo ops on Halloween eve with the first couple.

The president even gave high-fives to some of the kids.
