Ambassador Nikki Haley demolishes Palestinian grievance-mongers

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has had enough of the entitlement mentality and consistent blackmailing from the Palestinian leadership.

In a wide-ranging interview with Fox News, Ambassador Haley explained why the Trump administration was right to announce the closure of the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) diplomatic office in Washington, D.C.

“All they’ve done is have their hand out asking for money, badmouth the United States, not come to the table on the peace deal — why would we have a PLO office?” she explained. “Why would we continue to fund the Palestinians?”

Haley continued, pointing out that the U.S. has received nothing good in return for the $6.4 billion in taxpayer dollars that the American people have delivered in free assistance to the Palestinians since 1994.

On Monday, the State Department announced the closure of the PLO offices, citing the Palestinians’ anti-peace agenda.

“The PLO has not taken steps to advance the start of direct and meaningful negotiations with Israel,” read the State Department statement. “PLO leadership has condemned a U.S. peace plan [and] they have not yet seen and refused to engage with the U.S. government with respect to peace efforts and otherwise.

The PLO was founded as an international terrorist organization committed to the violent “liberation of Palestine,” or the annihilation of Israel. In its early days, the group acted as a ruthless jihadi group and committed terrorist attacks against Jews and Israelis worldwide. The late Palestinian arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat successfully lobbied for the removal of the PLO’s terrorist designation, but later rallied the organization to conduct armed campaigns of terrorism against Israel.
