CAIR activists, Linda Sarsour arrested at US Capitol

Conservative Review

Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour, along with several top officials from the Hamas-tied Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), were arrested Tuesday for rabble-rousing outside the office of speaker of the House Rep. Paul Ryan.

The Islamic supremacist leaders refused to leave the premises after demanding to meet with Ryan over the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The debate over DACA continues to rage on Capitol Hill. Legislators have proposed several plans for keeping DACA, reforming it, or canceling it altogether. The Trump administration has yet to make a firm decision on the DACA program. Six months ago, the White House announced it would slowly phase out DACA.

Sarsour is an advocate for the Koranic Sharia law, which treats non-Muslims and women as inferior citizens. She has garnered a lot of attention lately for her refusal to disavow one of her mentors, the anti-Semitic, Nazi-admiring hate preacher Louis Farrakhan. In July of last year, Sarsour gave a speech at an Islamist convention in which she encouraged supporters to wage “jihad” against the Trump administration.

She was accompanied by Islamic supremacist CAIR leaders such as Nihad Awad, Zahra Billoo, Dawud Walid, Talib Shareef, and Mujahid Fletcher. The Islamist organization (which describes itself as a “Muslim civil rights” group) was founded by U.S.-based supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, with the goal of supporting its Palestinian affiliate, the terrorist group Hamas.

Awad, who leads CAIR’s national organization, once publicly declared his support for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

Billoo supports the idea of an Islamic caliphate and claims that ISIS is on the same moral plane as U.S. troops serving overseas.

Walid has a long history as an Islamic supremacist who targets reformist Muslims and Christians in general.

Also joining CAIR and Sarsour was Imam Omar Suleiman, a gay-bashing preacher who is sympathetic to honor killings.
