Levin tears into Republican ‘liars’: ‘They want Obamacare’

CR Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin opened his radio show Tuesday night tearing into Republicans for their failure to pass conservative legislation while in the majority in Congress.

“The [modern] Republican party is not a party of small government … liberty … of private property rights. Of capitalism,” he explained.

“Do you know why the Republicans won’t repeal Obamacare?” Levin asked his audience. “Because they support it.”

“Do you know why the Republicans won’t slash government spending? Because they support massive government spending … they support open borders,” he continued.

Levin didn’t hold back on critiquing the Trump administration for its documented failures.

“I’m starting to think that this administration doesn’t want to slash government spending either,” Levin said of the lack of movement from the White House on conservative policies.

He explained that the tax cuts under Reagan were called the “Reagan tax cuts because he drove the agenda … The president of the United States is not driving the agenda.”

“We’ve been waiting … for thirty years,” Levin said of Republicans promising to make good on their statements in favor of free market legislation. “They don’t want to repeal Obamacare,” he explained.

“The Republicans buy into this propaganda,” he added of the congressional legislators' unwillingness to repeal the main tenets of Obamacare. “They want Obamacare, even though it’s unsustainable.”

“We have liars. Deceitful, dishonest men and women who get your votes” and don’t follow through on any of their promises, the CR editor-in-chief said, disgusted by the behavior of the Republican establishment.
