Mark Levin takes a hard look at Elizabeth Warren's college cost hypocrisy

Conservative Review

Why does the mainstream media ignore Elizabeth Warren's employment history when she talks about the cost of college on the campaign trail? LevinTV host Mark Levin asked the question Friday night on the radio.

Levin read from a Boston Globe report from the 2012 election cycle that details Warren's employment history. The story explains that before being elected to the Senate, Warren brought home over $700,000 in teaching and consulting fees over the course of two years while she also was paid as an Obama adviser and chairwoman of the panel that oversaw the bank bailouts. Of that $700,000, $430,000 of it came from Harvard.

Levin said that his attention to the issue was motivated by a tweet from TownHall's Katie Pavlich regarding Warren's performance at the last round of Democratic presidential debates: "As Elizabeth Warren closes the night with complaints about cost of college for students, just remember she was paid $400,000 to teach one class."

At the second Democratic debate, Warren focused heavily on skyrocketing college costs and student loan bailouts.

"How come not a single question was posed to Elizabeth Warren about any of this during two debates in which she's participated in now?" Levin asked. "Not one. Not one question."
