Poll: Republican Dean Heller leaps ahead in Nevada following Kavanaugh confirmation

The Democrats' best hope at unseating an incumbent Senate Republican seems to be slipping away as a new poll shows Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., leading his Democratic challenger, Rep. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev.

The Emerson College poll has Heller leading with 48 percent support among likely voters to Rosen's 41 percent, with 8 percent of respondents undecided. The poll has a 4.2 percent margin of error.
