The White House press secretary tried to pass a bible school geography lesson off as a foreign policy stance Tuesday, and it didn't go well.
When asked whether or not the Western Wall — one of the holiest sites in Judaism, and a major point of contention — belonged to the nation of Israel, Sean Spicer dodged the question, saying that the wall is "clearly in Jerusalem."
And the internet responded, mostly with some well-deserved mockery:
"Question: Where's Jerusalem?"
Spicer: <points>

I love Spicer's answer that the Kotel is "clearly in Jerusalem." Finally something all sides can agree on

Spicer: the Western Wall is clearly in Jerusalem (but where is Jerusalem?)

Spicer asked if the Western Wall is in Israel: It's a holy site, it's in Jerusalem, the rest will be discussed. Won't say it's in Israel

"The Western Wall ... is clearly in Jerusalem," Sean Spicer says. He punts on whether the wall is in Israel.

Trump's pro-Israel stances early were heartening.
B.S. out of Spicer's pie-hole is infuriating.
OBVIOUSLY, Western Wall is in Jerusalem.

@ChemiShalev Spicer:
Wall in Jerusalem check)
Jerusalem in Israel (to be discussed/sensitive/no response)
Hardly a comparison with the UN in NY. WTF?

Perhaps tomorrow he can finally answer the biggest geography puzzler of 2016: What is Aleppo?
