Why O‘Donnell’s ‘Witchcraft’ Doesn’t Matter

A lot has been made this weekend about Christine O'Donnell's admission back in the 90's that she "dabbled" in witchcraft during high school. But it doesn't bother me.

O'Donnell's past withcraft dabbling -- a teenage curiosity -- will not affect her as a policymaker. It's that simple.

What worries me more is the college curiosity of her opponent, Chris Coons. By his own admission he was a "bearded Marxist." Whereas O'Donnell's former witchraft will have no affect on her policymaking, I think Coons's former Marxism has the potential to influence current decisions.
