Obama Makes Weird Comment About Diverting Air Force One to Go See Chavez

HotAirPundit notes that CBS News reporter Mark Knoller first tweeted that Air Force One had left Lisbon:

CNN's Ed Henry sent a similar tweet:

Writing on Michelle Malkin's site, Doug Powers wondered if maybe Obama wanted to return that book Hugo gave him, adding, "Sean Penn is most likely on his way to Venezuela as we speak just in case this is no joke."

Or maybe he just wanted to learn more about democracy.  Progressives really like what's going on there. Like Robert Naiman of "Just Foreign Policy."  Is that a Soros-funded group?  He sure talks the talk:
