Homeless Man's Voice Kicks Off 'Today' Show

"If you need proof that life in this country can change overnight, look no further than Ted Williams."

America is fascinated with the story of Ted Williams, the homeless man with the amazing radio voice. So too is NBC. Williams took over as the announcer this morning on the "Today" show. Needless to say, he nailed it:

"If you need proof that life in this country can change overnight, look no further than Ted Williams," host Matt Lauer said during the show's opening. Later in the day, Lauer and co-host Meredith Vieira interviewed Williams on his incredible story:
