As we reported Saturday, Tucson shooting victim J. Eric Fuller was arrested following the taping of an ABC News "town hall" event hosted by Christiane Amanpour for making a death threat. On Sunday morning, ABC News aired the event and included a brief mention of Fuller's outburst and arrest...though without quoting what Fuller actually said.
Fuller's alleged death threat remark came as Tucson tea party leader Trent Humphries spoke about how the nation's gun laws weren't to blame for last weekend's shooting massacre that left six dead and more than a dozen others wounded. As Humphries begins to talk about his neighbor who died in the incident, a man's voice -- possibly Fuller's -- can be heard mumbling in the background, drawing the attention of others in the audience. It's not entirely clear, but this bit of audio may be the "you're dead" threat Fuller reportedly made during Humphries' remarks (around :50):
