[Note: the video below reports three marshals shot, but that report has been updated]
Saint Louis University Hospital spokeswoman Laura Keller confirms the two marshals are in the hospital's emergency room. She isn't releasing details about their conditions.
St. Louis Police say their officer was hit in his bullet-proof vest and suffered a graze wound and injuries from a fall. He was taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Details about the other wounded man's condition aren't immediately available.
Television video footage from KTVI in St. Louis showed one marshal being carried down an alley by several officers and being put into an ambulance.
Police aren't immediately releasing further details about the shooting.
