Reports are out that President Obama has decided to release at least one photo showing Osama bin Laden's corpse.
According to the Drudge Report, the images are "graphic" and one of them shows "a bullet wound to his head above his left eye." According to reports, that is where he was shot by at least one member of the Navy SEAL extraction team.
White House press pool reporter Sabrina Siddiqui tweeted the following:
GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham told Fox radio yesterday the photo should be released.
"I know the Geneva Convention very well," the senator from South Carolina, who also sits on the Armed Services Committee said, "but this is a circumstance where I believe it's not a violation of the convention, it would be in our national interests to make a case, documented case, that this was Osama bin Laden, he is dead."
Still, there are some who are skeptical the release will happen today. Fox's Bill Hemmer said on TV that White House sources tell Fox they are unsure where the reports are coming from since the administration has not yet made the decision.
If the reports are true that at least one photo will be released, there's no word on when that will take place.
According to an unofficial Blaze poll, 94.49% of readers believe the photos should be released.
This is a breaking story. Updates will be added.
