Crucify His A**!' Audio From LSU Protest Reveals Shocking Demand

"You had a lot of people on both sides of the debate getting into a lot of fights."

There were a lot of things said during the counter-protest at LSU Wednesday afternoon. From "U-S-A!" to "Get the hell out!" to "Go to hell, hippie!" And now, a reader has sent us some audio revealing another call that went out from at least one person among the protest mob: "Crucify his ass!"

The audio, sent to The Blaze by reader Grant Yenni, was taken from among the throng of counter-protesters. It features an argument between what sounds like two women over Haas's right to stage the protest, Haas delivering part of his prepared remarks, a man explaining he has the right to tell Haas supporters "to shut the fu** up," and then the "crucify" demand:

To be fair, the entire group cannot be held responsible for this one person's words. But considering not only the man's shocking call but also some of the other chants, it's safe to say there were hostile undertones.

"You had a lot of people on both sides of the debate getting into a lot of fights," James Haralson, manager of Tiger TV, the university television station, told Newscore. "The students started yelling obscenities at him. People started throwing bottles at him."
