Today, former PA Senator Rick Santorum officially announced his candidacy for president in 2012. Either because she was so excited, so overwhelmed, or just hot, a woman in the crowd fainted during the speech. Santorum had to stop his speech and his wife left the stage to go to the woman's side:
While it was an awkward moment, the Hill reports Santorum eventually led the crowd in a silent prayer for the woman. She was apparently taken away on a stretcher.
