Carney, Jarrett, Plouffe take home $172,000 according to White House employee salary data.
The White House released its annual report on employee salaries Friday, as required by law. Among the tidbits: Ron Bloom, assistant to the president for manufacturing policy, makes $163,000 a year.
That would be the same Ron Bloom seen espousing the view that the free market is "nonsense" and that "we kind of agree with Mao" in this video here:
Of the 454 employees listed, more than 30 percent make between $100,000 and $200,000, compared to 154 who make $50,000 or less.
Other information of note: White House chief of staff Bill Daley, press secretary Jay Carney, counterterrorism adviser John Brennan and senior advisers Valerie Jarrett and David Plouffe all make $172,000, the highest pay grade.
