Video: Judge Judy lectures welfare scammer

I never caught on to the whole court TV phenomenon, but I found this clip especially entertaining as Judge Judy explains how hard-working taxpayers don't appreciate people who cheat the system to get stipends, subsidies and other public assistance.

While the young defendant tries to explain why he thinks it's appropriate to use low-income government rent stipends to eat out and buy new clothes, the good judge notes that this type of moocher is "what we're creating" with bloated welfare programs.

"[I am] sending this tape to Congress," she concluded.
