Drama at the Wisconsin state fair

As Jon reported this morning, there are a number of reports coming out the Wisconsin state fair that "mobs" of minorities allegedly attacked white patrons.

Tensions were also high elsewhere at the fair when Gov. Scott Walker showed up on the scene to ceremoniously open the fair -- an annual tradition. But protesters unhappy with the Republican governor and his policies refused to let him speak and shouted him down.

Hundreds of people were on hand for opening day festivities at the fair. But when Gov. Walker stepped onto the stage, many shouted at the Governor. A few had signs of support and applause. ...

"This is the one place where all across the state where people can actually come together at least most people can. And that's what we're going to try to do this week," said Walker.

Tensions are at a tipping point across the state as Democrats and Republicans are set to square off in recall elections next week.
