Former PLO Member Calls for Ramadan Intifada

A Palestine Liberation Organization member encouraged all Arab Muslims and Christians to turn Fridays into organized rioting days during the month of Ramadan. Bassam Abu Sharif, a former advisor to Yasser Arafat, called for an intifada of the millions against what he termed “the Israeli occupation” and the “Judaizing” of Jerusalem, the Palestinian Authority-based Ma’an news agency reported.

Abu Sharif warned that Europe and the United States may experience large shocks because of their commitment to what he termed Israel’s “popular racism.”

He said his call for the ‘Friday Intifadas’ during Ramadan was made in order to protect the ‘Arabness’ of Jerusalem and Palestine. Abu Sharif claimed Israeli governments want to push Arabs out of the area and that they have opposed the establishment of the Palestinian state.

The report indicates that Abu Sharif also called on Arabs to demand that the United States and Europe implement UN Resolution 242 and recognize an independent Palestinian state whose capital is Jerusalem.

This is the same man, who accused Israel in 2009 of being responsible for the “assassination” of Yasser Arafat. The former PA chairman's own doctor confirmed that Arafat died of AIDS.
