We've already brought you one video from the weekend anti-war/Occupy Wall St. protest in Chicago. Now we have another gem.
Blogger Rebel Pundit again caught up with a protester in the middle of the march. This time, he interviewed a man who was quite upset that a counter-protester had a sign supporting the U.S. prison in Cuba, Guantanamo Bay.
"You should be hanged for treason right there!" the video shows the man yelling as he marches. He then points out a woman holding a sign that says "Gitmo Love." When pushed on if he actually thinks she should be "hanged," the man backs off a little, and says, "maybe not hanged, but she is a treason." Still, he then goes on to explain that people who commit treason should be killed.
Rebel Pundit explains:
We caught up with this anti-war protester on Saturday. He was shouting “die and hang” to a woman holding sign supporting Gitmo. He was afraid we were with Fox News and we might only use snippets of the interview, so we decided it was best to let you hear most of his thoughts.
But wait, there's more. Rebel Pundit noticed the man was carrying a socialist worker sign and asked if he supported socialism and communism. The man responded:
"Socialism means a democratic-- before the Soviet Union, before that word got perverted and corrupted, socialism meant democracy over the work place, and I believe in the original definition of having democratic ownership over your work place, over the economy."
He also defines patriotism as dissent.
