Wild Hail Mary Pass Lands in Fallen Receivers' Lap

Wild Hail Mary Pass Lands in Fallen Receivers' Lap

If you have ever played defensive back you know that the most important thing to keep in mind when a quarterback has launched a Hail Mary is to knock the ball straight down rather than give in to the urge to try and pull it in for an interception. Boise State Quarterback Kellen Moore's pass to receiver Matt Miller at the end of the second quarter during a game against Wyoming Saturday shows why you must always "bat the ball down:"

The play put Boise St. up a touchdown going into halftime during what would become a 36-14 route in favor of Boise. Do you think the play is luck for the offense or a mental breakdown by the secondary?

Either way, Doug Flutie-wannabes are  always entertaining to watch.
