Daily Beast writer doesn't like Callista Gingrich's style

The Daily Beast has an extensive piece on Callista Gingrich's personal style today. The author, Robin Givhan, isn't a fan. But for reasons that aren't clear.

For example, she writes of Gingrich's style: "In an era of relaxed dress codes and wash-and-go hair, her style is painstakingly starched from head to toe. If she were to slouch, she just might crack."

But when did wash-and-go hair come in style? Is Michelle Obama's hair (pictured at the right) an example of wash-and-go?

I'll take a guess that's not what Obama's hair would look like if she were to simply "wash and go." And yet, on Obama's style, Givhan called it "no-holds-barred, Hollywood-style sexy glamour" back in 2009.

Inconsistent, thus pointless. The only crack is Givhan. And that's in my professional GQ opinion.
