See a Reporter Caught in a Tear Gas & Rubber Bullet Crossfire at the Israeli Border
December 19, 2011
"Hello...yes...no, I am in danger a little bit...wait."
A reporter and his crew from Russia Today's Arabic-language channel Rusiya al-Yaum got caught in the crossfire of tear gas and rubber bullets on the Israeli-Palestinian border.
First you see the reporter covering his eyes, then he puts a handkerchief over his mouth to shield himself from the tear gas. A few loud bangs ensue from guns firing rubber bullets, and the reporter picks up his cellphone and yes "Hello, yes, hello, no I am in danger a little bit. Wait."
Like an intrepid field reporter, he appears back in the frame at the end of the clip and tries to restart his live shot.
