FL Primary May Not Be Over: Gingrich Camp to Challenge State's Winner Take All Status
February 01, 2012
Despite Mitt Romney's sweeping victory, the Florida primary may not be over just yet -- at least for Newt Gingrich who is hoping to challenge the state's "winner takes all" status. Fox News' Carl Cameron reports that under Republican National Committee rules, no state can be winner take all until after April 1.
On Friday the Gingrich campaign will reportedly send a Florida campaign official to investigate the matter and see if they can get the rules enforced so that the delegates would be divided proportionally.
