The mild winter across the country has led to a decrease in viral, bad-weather driving videos this season. But this one from Ohio might make up for the dry spell.
On an icy bridge and roadway in Columbus, drivers were flying out of control after hitting a patch of black ice. One car took out a sign, another hit the ditch and went flying through the air, while another spun 180 degrees and ended up in a head-on collision with another vehicle:
But the pictures don't tell the full story. You have to watch the video for the full effect, which includes the sound of screeching tires and crunching metal:
According to WBNS-TV, no one was injured in the accidents. It also reports the icy roads were eventually salted, but not by the local government charged with maintaining the road. Instead, a neighboring salt truck came to help out because the other trucks were tied up.
