Movie mogul and big time Democrat donor Harvey Weinstein probably rejects movie proposals all the time. But one from President Barack Obama, that's a first.
"I sent him an email back saying he was the most overqualified book scout I’ve ever had," Weinstein told the Times of London.
Weinstein said Obama sent him a book and proposed that Weinstein turn it into a movie. He wouldn't say what the book was, but he identified it as "a spy novel."
Last August Weinstein hosted a mega fundraiser for Obama at his home in New York City. But it looks like there are some things he just. won't. do.
