You can follow the Fed on Twitter if you want

The Federal Reserve joined Twitter yesterday. Zzz...

So far the account has sent out five tweets with links containing the following:

--a video of Chairman Ben Bernanke "explaining the structure" of the Fed;

--a speech by Bernanke on "community banking";

--dates of future Bernanke speeches.

The Fed even created the fast trending hashtag "#FedLectures."
