Ron Paul's campaign still alive, kicking

It seems that Mitt Romney will be the GOP's presidential nominee this fall, but Texas Rep. Ron Paul isn't giving up his fight for the Oval Office. According to The Hill, the Paul campaign is still buying up TV ad time in states like Rhode Island which have yet to vote in their primary elections.

Last week, the Paul camp released a "bold Texan" ad in the libertarian congressman's home state. This week, the campaign is targeting Rhode Island with a more subdued message on Paul's plan to shrink the size of government and "restore America":

“By running our acclaimed spot 'The Plan,’ we aim to amplify Ron Paul’s already-strong appeal among Rhode Island Republican primary voters. Taken together, tonight’s University of Rhode Island town hall meeting and this ad will make more widely known his consistent, 30-year track record of promoting constitutionally-limited government and the restoration of our economic and civil liberties,” says Paul spokesman Jesse Benton.
