"Big f--king deal" it was not.
Sen. Marco Rubio's highly-touted foreign policy address Wednesday went off...not quite without a hitch, but without any lasting damage, when the Florida Republican reached the last page of his speech -- only to find that it wasn't there.
Rubio was delivering the last lines when he paused for a moment and looked up, sheepishly declaring, "I left my last page of the speech. Does anybody have my last page?"
Turning to an aide, he asked, "Did I leave it with you?"
The paper was hastily thrust into his hand and Rubio, with a broad embarrassed smile, continued on.
For Rubio, one of the most-talked about prospects for the GOP vice presidential slot, think of it as a right of passage into the legacy of gaffes that come from those associated with the No. 2 spot.
Just don't expect this one to end up on a T-shirt.
