Real News From The Blaze': Israeli Elections and Tensions With Iran
May 03, 2012
An official with Israel's governing Likud Party has said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will announce Sunday that Israel will move up its scheduled national elections from October 2013 to September 4. The move comes as dissent has grown among top political and military figures in Israel in regards to the handling of Iran's nuclear activities.
According to a recent poll from the Jerusalem Post, less than half of Israelis support a unilateral Israeli strike on Iran without the U.S., but an overwhelming majority – 72 percent – would support an international strike.
During "Real News" Thursday the panel debated the strategic and political effects that Iran, Israel and the U.S. all have on one another.
